Paddy Power Xmas cracker update

Paddy Power Poker today announced another gift to poker players entering its Christmas Cracker No Limit Texas Hold ‘Em tournament at the Sporting Emporium,

Dublin

on 17 December 2005. Paddy Power Poker will pay the return toll charge for any player travelling to the tournament.

The ‘punter-friendly’ company has already agreed to pay the €50 registration fee for the €500 buy-in tournament. It has also added €5,000 to the prize pool which is estimated at €60,000.

Due to demand from online players, additional giveaway tournament will be held on www.paddypowerpoker.com on Thursday 15 December at 10pm.

Paddy Power, spokesman for the company, said, “We want everyone to arrive stress free & toll free.  It's a nice touch for players travelling to the tournament, and they can also stay in the lap of luxury for a knockdown rate.  Everyone's a winner!”

Rooms in the 5-star Westbury Hotel are available for the special rate of €120.

In an unprecedented move, Paddy Power Poker also gave the Irish poker community the opportunity to decide on the tournament structure, so players can bank on large starting stacks, stress-free blind levels and lots and lots of play.
